The old cattle byre has been sympathetically renovated using traditional douglas pine beams and larch wood ceilings. The gite has three bedrooms and a dormitory-type room and can sleep up to 7 adults OR 9/10 adults and children.

This gite has three floors; the ground floor is tiled and first and second floors have chestnut wood floorboards.

The spacious open plan kitchen/dining room on the ground floor has two sets of double doors leading onto a covered south-facing terrace overlooking the garden. The terrace (5.5 x 3 metres or roughly 17ft x 10ft) has ample space for a large table with chairs for eating out in the shade.

The kitchen is well-quipped, has ample work space and is fitted with modern amenities including; dishwasher, fridge freezer, electric oven with gas hob, as well as a washing machine. The central island helps to connect those preparing or helping with the rest of the group in or outside on the terrace. The dining area has a table and chairs with seating for up to ten guests.

There is one double bedroom on the ground floor and one twin bedroom on the first floor, each with its own en-suite bathroom with bath, shower, loo and basin. Both spacious bedrooms are furnished in a rustic farmhouse style with comfortable beds, rugs and storage space for clothes. Both bedrooms also have extensive views of the surrounding hills and fields.

The second floor has two bedrooms. The first is a dormitory-style bedroom ideal for young children but which can can be transformed into a twin room for adults. There is a further single bedroom. Also, on the second floor, there is a separate bathroom with bath, loo and basin.

The spacious and light sitting room is comfortably furnished with three sofas, two armchairs a coffee table and sideboard. It has a TV/DVD, a CD player, some games as well as a selection of books.

Two french windows lead from the sitting room onto a covered south-facing terrace/balcony (5.5 x 3 metres). Here you can relax in the shade, read a book or just admire the stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the Pyrenees.

As well as the terraces on the ground floor outside the kitchen and on the 1st floor outside the sitting room, there is plenty of space in the garden for sitting and eating outside, with with wonderful views towards the Pyrenees.

There is an additional private loo in the entrance lobby at the back of the gite on the ground floor.

All linen and towels are provided and we can provide high-chairs on request.

The gite is heated by the woodburning stove in addition to modern, efficient electric heaters.

Cots and high chairs for babies are available on request.

Availability of "La Grange"

During the high season, (July and August) La Grange is only rented out in its entirety on a weekly basis and is ideal for up to two families.

During the mid and low seasons (all other times), however, this gite can be rented much more flexibly, both in terms of the length of stay and number of people staying. Due to the special design of the building it is possible to shut off the top floor of this gite, so that in effect it becomes a two bedroom gite suitable for four people. Alternatively, it could be used to accommodate a party of up to seven adults. During the mid and low season rental periods only, charges are made on a per person per night basis with a minimum occupancy of four people staying.
